Hello! 💌 I'm Vanessa, the creator of Surf the Look.

I started Surf the Look while living in South Florida, and now I'm based in Atlanta, GA! What started as a love for thrifting, sewing, and finding unique pieces has grown into a creative space where I get to celebrate funky, groovy, and one-of-a-kind style.

I love sourcing vintage and thrifted finds, creating handmade pieces, and reworking clothing into fresh designs that give each item a new life. I also offer carefully curated vintage and thrifted pieces as-is for those who love finding something special with its own story.

Outside of Surf the Look, I spend my days working in the mental health field as a therapist. My work has taught me so much about the importance of self-expression, individuality, and embracing what makes each person unique—which are values that inspire this little shop too.

Every item—whether redesigned, handmade, or left in its original vintage beauty—is one of a kind, just like the people who wear them. I believe personal style should be fun, expressive, and a reflection of what makes you feel most like yourself.
